COVERS OVERALL:
Generally, in pop music magazines (targeted at the same audience as my own) the covers which I have researched and others similar all share certain characteristics. For example, the colour schemes all feature stereotypically feminine colors including pink and often white. The masthead is usually at the top or side of the page and is the largest, boldest font of the page. After this the largest font is the main coverline/ anchorage text which is usually the name of the artist featuring as the cover star. This font along with the masthead is most often serif and in a colour, the ones I have researched are mainly pink. Another factor which is the same across most is the main image, it focuses on one cover star and takes up the whole cover showing the artist at the center of the page. Their coverlines also discuss similar topics these consist of other artists similar to themselves, their relationships, daily lives and advice.

ARTICLES:
The articles for the magazines often discuss things related to the cover stars musical career, life and relationships. For example, Ariana Grande's Billboard magazine article focuses on women in music and her relationship with her partner. The article page usually features images of the artist or relating to the topic discussed in the article.

CONTENTS PAGE:
The contents pages differ more than the other pages in some ways but also share many similarities. The more modern magazines feature less images than older ones and also the text is more simplistic along with the overall style of the page. All contents pages fit the general feel of the overall magazine by fitting with the colour scheme and how and when different fonts are used.
